Harlan Buettner and his wife Jennifer have been our lead-pastor team since July of '06. Harlan & Jennifer came to us from Seattle, Washington, having previously served as Pastor in Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. They also served as song evangelists and as associate pastors in music and youth.

Harlan is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, holding a B. A. in Biblical Studies and a Masters of Science in Management. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Church Administration from Trinity College and Seminary. He has a business background as a realtor and general contractor.

Jennifer holds a B. S. in Home Economics with a 2 year Business Certificate from Southern Nazarene University. She is heavily involved in our worship program as an instrumentalist. She is a very accomplished pianist and adds depth and musical knowledge to our music team.

Harlan enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and bicycling riding and spending time with Jennifer and their son Ryan. He also enjoys restoring cars and high performance automobiles. (You'll have to ask him about his MUSTANG!) Jennifer enjoys reading, music and time with Harlan when he isn't working on his car.

Harlan and Jennifer have one son, Ryan, who is a freshman at Kansas State University in Wichita, KS studying sports medicine. Ryan has a passion for music as a drummer and vocalist. Ryan also shares his dad's addiction / passion for fast cars. (You'll have to ask him about his MUSTANG as well.)
